Adoption/Fostering
Adoption is the word used, when an unrelated person takes up the care and parental responsibility of a child that can no longer live with his birth parents or extended family members.
We are of the opinion that no matter how comfortable an orphanage is, it should only be a transit home for children. Therefore one of our most important missions is to have our children adopted into responsible God fearing homes in the shortest possible time.
Please note that:
I. We do not charge money for adoption. We believe that children are special gift from God
and must be treated as such. Do not offer money to any individual on behalf of the orphanage.
II. It is the sole responsibility of the government, Ministry of Youth and Social Development (MYSD)
to issue letters of approval for adoption.
III. We do not process adoption letters without sighting the original letter of adoption issued by the Ministry.
